Despite their name, they don't actually have a thick cranium - they are so-named as early taxidermists found that the head was the most difficult part of the duck to process :o This is the female of the species, with a darker eye than her male counterpart, whom has a beautiful white eye. I love their beautiful chocolate coloured plumage.
