I went out for a walk just before sunrise & found a flock of 40+ Majors basking in the early sun warming up. I spent the next couple of hours watching their antics & following them around the bush. They obviously got used to my presence, at one stage 20-odd cockies flew right towards me & landed in a nearby tree. That's when I managed to take this capture - a shot I have dreamed of for many years. If only he raised his crest as well, that would have been icing on an already very delicious cake!
